Chicago Board of Election Protest
Come one, come all to a protest at the Chicago Board of Elections on Monday, December 6 at 8:30 AM. If you are a candidate who has been challenged, here is your chance to protest for your constitutional right to run for public office. Bring your friends, spouses, and supporters to the Democracy Now rally. Tell the world how the Chicago and Springfield political machine won’t allow the names of legitimate candidates to appear on the ballot. Join your fellow patriots in chanting, “We want to run,” “Don’t tread on us,” or “We want democracy.” Bring a smile, business card, or warm handshake to share with your fellow protestors as we join together to fight for our constitutional rights.
If you missed the civil rights movement in the 1960s, the anti-war movement in the 1970s, now is your chance to be part of an election and civil rights movement that is as important today as it was 30 or 40 years ago. Rely on the wisdom of Dr. Martin Luther King, the courage of Mahmet Ghandi, or the strength of Nelson Mendela for inspiration to attend this very important rally. Be a part of American history. Many years from now you’ll be proud that you participated in this protest.
